Integrated Clinico-pathological and treatment outcome analysis of extra-cranial malignant germ cell tumors in children and adolescents in India
To study the event free survival (EFS) and overall survival (OS) of children aged ≤ 18 years with malignant extra-cranial GCT in India and determine underlying risk factors affecting survival.
Children aged ≤ 18 years diagnosed with malignant extra-cranial GCT on the basis
of histopathology and/ or elevated tumour markers.
Patients who received partial treatment in the participating centre would still be
eligible as long as adequate details of treatment done outside the participating
centre is available and follow-up was done.

Relapsed GCT at presentation to the participating center (i.e. primary therapy was
received elsewhere).
● Overall survival (OS): Survival at 3 years, using Kaplan Mayer survival analysis.
● Event free survival (EFS): Survival without any events (relapse, progression, death
due to any cause, treatment abandonment, secondary malignancy) at 3 years.
